Barbara grew up in North Delta, BC and taught there for a few years before moving to Toronto. When she retired from teaching in 2003, she began volunteering at the midwifery clinic when it was located in Newmarket. When the clinic moved to Aurora, she began to work one day a week and continues to work on a casual basis for Family Care Midwives. You will often see her working on Fridays.
In her free time, Barbara enjoys hiking, gardening and volunteering.
