Tahereh began her midwifery career in Canada in 2004 after completing the International Pre-registration Midwifery Program at Toronto Metropolitan University. She started practicing at St. Jacobs Midwifery Clinic and, from 2005 to 2023, lived and worked in Cambridge. During that time, she held hospital privileges at Grand River Hospital, Cambridge Memorial Hospital, St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Mississauga Hospital, and the Toronto Birth Centre.
Over the years, Tahereh has supported countless individuals and families through pregnancy and birth, including many newcomers to Canada and clients without OHIP coverage. Her care is grounded in compassion, cultural sensitivity, and clinical excellence.
Committed to lifelong learning, Tahereh also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from York University and has completed numerous additional healthcare courses. She is a certified Emergency Skills instructor and Neonatal Resuscitation instructor. Passionate about mentorship, she regularly serves as a preceptor to midwifery students, helping to shape the next generation of midwives. She offers care in both English and Farsi.
Outside of midwifery, Tahereh enjoys music and dance, watching documentaries and comedies, and spending quality time with her loved ones. She loves meeting new people and looks forward to being part of your journey through pregnancy, birth, and beyond.
