Lori Vininsky graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Biology in 1997, followed by a Bachelor of Education in 1998. She spent 18 years teaching high school biology, all the while considering a future career in health care. After a profound and inspiring experience with a midwife during the birth of her third child, Lori decided to pursue midwifery.
She graduated from the Bachelor of Health Sciences in Midwifery program in 2020 and began her practice in the North York area. Lori joined Family Care Midwives in the fall of 2021 and looks forward to supporting families through their pregnancy and birth journeys. She is also an active preceptor, dedicated to teaching and mentoring new midwifery students as they prepare to enter the profession.
Lori is fluent in English and has conversational skills in Hebrew and Spanish.
