Jackie French completed her first degree in Physical Anthropology at the University of Toronto in 1999. Her passion for midwifery was sparked through several years of work as a doula supporting teen parents. Inspired by those experiences, she pursued midwifery education and graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences in Midwifery from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) in 2009.
Since 2010, Jackie has been a dedicated member of Family Care Midwives, where she is a partner in the practice. She also serves as the Head Midwife at Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital, where she contributes to clinical leadership and high-quality care.
Jackie is the proud parent of one amazing daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and solving puzzles. She provides midwifery care in English, understands some French, and uses the pronouns she/her.
