Emily Marques is a registered midwife in Ontario, born and raised in Burlington. Her passion for health care began early, first taking shape through academic research. She earned a degree in Biology with a minor in Family & Child Studies from the University of Guelph before discovering her calling in midwifery. Emily completed her Bachelor of Health Sciences in Midwifery with distinction at Toronto Metropolitan University in 2025.
During her training, Emily gained wide-ranging clinical experience working with midwives, obstetricians, nurses, lactation consultants, and pediatric teams across Ontario. These experiences deepened her commitment to client-centered, evidence-based care and her belief in the importance of informed choice, trust, and collaboration. Emily strives to ensure every client feels respected, heard, and supported throughout their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey.
Outside of midwifery, Emily enjoys gardening, reading, cooking, and hiking with her partner and their two dogs.
