Sharon practiced in York Region for four years before recognizing the growing demand for midwifery care. In 2010, she co-founded Family Care Midwives. She continues to learn and feels honored to guide families through one of the most transformative times in their lives.
Sharon has contributed to the midwifery profession in several leadership roles. She served as a council member of the College of Midwives of Ontario and as Head Midwife at Mackenzie Health Hospital for six years. In these roles, she maintained high standards of care and professional practice. She currently works as a part-time midwife and partner at Family Care Midwives.
Sharon provides midwifery care in English and uses the pronouns she/her/hers. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending quality time with family and friends.
