Emily Marques is a registered midwife in Ontario, born and raised in Burlington. Her passion for health care began early and first took shape through academic research. She earned a degree in Biology with a minor in Family & Child Studies from the University of Guelph before discovering her calling in midwifery. Emily went on to complete a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Midwifery with distinction at Toronto Metropolitan University in 2025.
During her training, Emily gained diverse clinical experience alongside midwives, obstetricians, nurses, lactation consultants, and pediatric teams across Ontario. These experiences reinforced her commitment to client-centered, evidence-based care and strengthened her belief in the power of informed choice, strong relationships, and collaborative care. She is dedicated to ensuring clients feel respected, heard, and supported throughout their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey.
Outside of her work as a midwife, Emily enjoys gardening, reading, cooking, and hiking with her partner and their two dogs.
